Department of Social Services Santa Barbara (DSS)

The Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services (DSS) serves as a central access point for establishing the following services: Medi-Cal, CalFresh (food stamps), CalWORKS (cash aid), Emergency Cash Aid, WIOA (job services) Adult Protective Services (APS), In Home Supportive Services (IHSS), and Child Welfare Services.
